The Charles E. and Geneva S. Scott Scottish Rite Communication Disorders Clinic, a non-profit organization, is a unit in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the Beaver College of Health Sciences at Appalachian State University. The Clinic provides "hands-on" clinical learning experiences for students pursuing their Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and provides speech-language pathology services to children, adolescents and adults with communication disorders in the region. The Clinic provides prevention, assessment, and treatment services in the areas of speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
