Administers a wide range of financial assistance and service programs, investigates and responds to reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of children and disabled adults, provides in-home services to special needs individuals, manages adoptions, foster care and child/adult day care. Food stamps, Medicaid, AFDC, APS, CPS, AHS, adults, children, in-home aide, adoptions, foster care emergency services, abortion, sterilization, eye certification, CIP, LIEAP, Child Support Enforcement, services to the blind, rest home payments, medical transportation, work permits, juveniles, USDA commodities, payee, Notary Public. The Workfirst Program will provide child care, transportation, and participation expenses for Workfirst Family assistance clients who wish to receive skills training, or have on-the-job training. Counselor for services to the blind on site on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor is on site on Wednesdays from 10:00 - Noon.
