Counseling for Faculty and Staff (CFS) provides counseling, consultation, training, and referrals for concerns that impact both your personal and professional lives.
Most people come to CFS because they have experienced difficulty in resolving an issue on their own and are looking for additional options or resources. We offer free and confidential counseling, consultation, workshops and training seminars, and guidance for making referrals to colleagues or employees. We also offer consultation and training for managers and supervisors, program directors, and department chairs.
For more information, please visit the Counseling for Faculty and Staff website.
Do I have a problem?
Consultation is free and a great first step of the counseling process. You can call to set up a consultation with a counselor if you feel that you may have a problem. Some people call us because a friend, partner, or colleague suggested they call, and others call because they have tried to resolve an issue on their own without success. Still others may be unsure that they have a problem, but they call anyway to get the chance to simply talk with a counselor.
At CFS, we offer a variety of services, including consultation, counseling, assessments, workshops, and the ability to make referrals. All of our services are available to faculty, staff, and their immediate family members. We also extend our services to go beyond the individual and impact couples, families, and workplaces as well. Whether you're looking to sign up for a parenting workshop or seeking counseling on mending relationships between employees, CFS has something to offer you.
