Dear friends and supporters of Girls on the Run,
It is with great regret that we must at this time postpone the Luck O' the Lassie fundraiser scheduled for March 17th at Booneshine Brewery. This is considered an official Appalachian State University event, and all events with large numbers of participants are to be canceled or postponed immediately as our community seeks to comply with state, federal, and World Health Organization guidelines with respect to the current pandemic. We look forward to hosting this celebration at another time and will provide a new date as soon as we can. We wish good health to all of you and appreciate your continued support of GOTR and the young women we serve throughout the High Country.
Thank you for your understanding -- Girls on the Run of the High Country
Sponsored by Booneshine Brewing Co.
The 10th annual Luck o' the Lassie celebration is a festive event designed to honor our coaches, highlight our wonderful sponsors and to raise funds to be able to support scholarships for participants. We will also award the annual Leigh Cooper Wallace Making a Difference Award to a volunteer who has greatly impacted the organization in the past year.
The LOL will be on TBD at the Booneshine Brewing Company located at 465 Industrial Park Drive in Boone. Your event ticket will include a wine tasting, an array of food from Booneshine, one complimentary beverage of your choice, live music featuring the Belfast Boys, a silent auction and a very lively live auction of amazing items donated by our wonderful sponsors. Additonal food and beverages will be available for purchase from the menu.
Event tickets: $25/per person until sold out
We are very very grateful for the generosity of the LOL sponsors!
