Nutrition Counseling through IHHS Interprofessional Clinic
Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff has aligned with the IHHS Interprofessional Clinic to offer free Nutrition Counseling. Nutrition Counseling through Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC (including State Health Plan)
Eligible NC State employees can participate in Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less, a 15-week online weight management program that uses proven weight-loss strategies for free.
Professionals at NC State and the NC Division of Public Health created the program.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina members, including State Health Plan members, can participate in the program at no cost. Each of the program’s 15 sessions is covered at 100% as a telehealth group nutritional counseling visit.
To participate in the program,you must register, and your primary insurance provider must be Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. When you register, enter this coupon/voucher code: GNC2022. You will be asked to enter your Blue Cross and Blue Shield subscriber ID number.
