Aging Well Health Screenings

Annual assessments are typically brief and include:

  • Balance and Walking

  • Memory and Recall

  • Nutrition and Diet

  • Hearing Perception and other Quality of Life measures

Additional assessments and/or referrals are made as needed. Information can be shared with primary care physicians with participant permission.

Specialty Program for Adults

Older adults attending the Strong Body, Strong Mind course

Strong Body, Strong Mind 

8-week program focuses on brain function and cognitive fitness (the ability to learn, reason, remember, and adapt your thinking processes).  Offered fall and spring. Call to schedule a pre-program assessment and interview to determine which class will best meet your needs.  The program is free and open to anyone looking to integrate wellness practices into their lives in order to strengthen cognitive performance.

Fall Prevention and Wellness Programs

A Matter of Balance and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention are offered year round at various locations throughout the High Country. These evidence-based programs are supported by an Administration for Community Living Grant to reduce falls and increase independence for older adults. To learn more about the programs, click here.
