Scholars in the iSHINE program participate in learning and experiences that meet specific competencies relating to working on interdisciplinary teams in schools to better support students with high-intensity needs. In Spring 2020, iSHINE scholars completed an online module about assistive technology to help meet students' learning needs. For an iSHINE course assignment, scholar Maeve McGannon created a professional introductory video to assistive technology. Both parents and professionals may find this video helpful in understanding how assistive technology may help students with disabilities participate more effectively in the classroom environment.
