Camp GOTR is a one of a kind camp where girls in 3rd-5th grade spend a week during the summer building friendships, exploring their creativity and playing fun games that keep them moving.

Watauga Camp GOTR Mini Camp: Girls Have Heart

Throughout the mini session, girls will have fun exploring friendships with activities designed to discover what makes a good friend and how to be a good friend to others. Girls will build, create, write, discuss, connect, and laugh all while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates.
Watauga Camp GOTR 2: Girls Have Power
July 8-12 camp is full- waitlist in progress

During this dynamic week-long session, girls will learn about the power they possess to recognize emotions in themselves and others, and how to express their feelings through fun and interactive activities such as "Emotion Detective", building workshops, creative skits, and more!

Eligibility
Any girl who is a 3rd-5th grader. Space is limited to 25 girls per Camp GOTR week.
Fees
Full Week: $100. Includes t-shirt, water bottle and afternoon snacks.
Mini Session: $60. Includes t-shirt, water bottle and afternoon snacks.
Accommodations
Activities have been adapted to be appropriate for all girls whether they walk, run, push, or roll. In addition to doing physical activities, girls will be writing, speaking, reading, listening and following directions in a group setting. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to identify the accommodations needed to provide a safe and inclusive experience for your girl.
Refund Policy
Refund policies for Camp GOTR:
- Written notice received at least one week prior to the first day of camp: full refund minus a $25.00 administrative charge.
- Written notice received within one week of camp starting date: 50% refund.
- After the first day of camp: no refunds.
Please note: It is the policy of Appalachian State University that an IRS W-9 form must be on-file in order to generate a refund check.
