Ready for your girl to benefit from a physically active and inspiring camp experience that nurtures personal growth?
Throughout the week, girls will have fun exploring friendships with activities designed to discover what makes a good friend and how to be a good friend to others. Girls will build, create, write, discuss, connect, and laugh all while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates.
Watauga Camp GOTR 2: Girls Have Power *July 10 - 14, 2023

Ready for your girl to benefit from a physically active and inspiring camp experience that nurtures personal growth?
During this dynamic week-long session, girls will learn about the power they possess to recognize emotions in themselves and others, and how to express their feelings through fun and interactive activities such as "Emotion Detective", building workshops, creative skits, and more!

Boone location: Levine Hall of Health Science, 1179 State Farm Road in Boone
Eligibility
Any girl who is a rising 3rd - 5th grader
Fees
*June 26 - 30 week: $100 per week: includes t-shirt, water bottle and afternoon snacks
*July 10 - 14 week: $100 per week: includes t-shirt, water bottle and afternoon snacks
Accomodations
Activities have been adapted to be appropriate for all girls whether they walk, run, push, or roll. In addition to doing physical activities, girls will be writing, speaking, reading, listening and following directions in a group setting. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to identify the accommodations needed to provide a safe and inclusive experience for your girl.
Refund Policy
GOTR-HC Refund Policy for Summer Camp
- Written notice received at least one week prior to the first day of camp: full refund minus a $25.00 administrative charge.
- Written notice received within one week of camp starting date: 50% refund.
- After the first day of camp: no refunds
Please note: It is the policy of Appalachian State University that an IRS W-9 form must be on-file in order to generate a refund check.
