Camp GOTR is back on for the summer of 2022! We will be holding camp in Wilkes and Watauga Counties. Registration is now open! Space is limited to the first 22 girls who register.

 


Watauga Camp GOTR 1: Girls Have Heart  *July 18-22, 2022

Throughout the week, girls will have fun exploring friendships with activities designed to discover what makes a good friend and how to be a good friend to others. Girls will build, create, write, discuss, connect, and laugh all while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates.

 


Watauga Camp GOTR 2: Girls Have Power  *July 25-29, 2022

9:00am-5:00pm, Boone

During this dynamic week-long session, girls will learn about the power they possess to recognize emotions in themselves and others, and how to express their feelings through fun and interactive activities such as "Emotion Detective", building workshops, creative skits, and more!

Boone location: Levine Hall of Health Science, 1179 State Farm Road in Boone

Eligibility

Any girl who is a rising 3rd - 5th grader

Fees

*July 18-22 week: $100 per week: includes t-shirt, water bottle and afternoon snacks

*July 25-29 week: $100 per week: includes t-shirt, water bottle and afternoon snacks

Refund Policy

GOTR-HC Refund Policy for Summer Camp

  • Written notice received at least one week prior to the first day of camp: full refund minus a $25.00 administrative charge.
  • After the first day of camp: no refunds

Please note: It is the policy of Appalachian State University that an IRS W-9 form must be on-file in order to generate a refund check.
